The Harlin family settled in Gainesville in 1869 and in 1894 were instrumental in the founding of the Bank of Gainesville, later renamed Century Bank of the Ozarks in 1994. John, Chris, and Missy Harlin talk about their ancestor's settling in Gainesville, the history of banking in the community and the strong sense of place and belonging that is forged over several generations.
