Family Singing: A Musical Portrait

  • Aired: 01/22/2010

  • Rating: NR
Leisure activities, such as music and singing are some of the most recognizable ways of defining a culture. And family singing is one of our more unique and enduring Ozarks traditions. Typically we think of music parties as a combination of instrumental and vocal music---in times past, these get-togethers often featured only singing and many families became well-known for their singing abilities.
