The Ozarks Afro-American Heritage Museum, located in Ash Grove, Missouri, is a striking exhibit of artifacts and history dating back to the 1790s. Collections in the museum include beautiful and historic quilts, photographs, portraits and handcrafted furniture as well as reminders of slavery times such as slave chains, neck irons and ball and chain weights.
