Elephant Rocks State Park in Iron County, Missouri is a truly unique park. Historically reddish or pink granite had been quarried since the late 1800s from now abandoned quarries within the park. This granite was often used in building construction throughout the U.S. and especially in the St. Louis area. Brick Autry introduces us to Elephant Rocks State Park, its beautiful sites, and history.
